MN Black business owners invited to write letters to Congress Sheletta Brundidge, founder and CEO of the podcasting platform and production company ShelettaMakesMeLaugh, is inviting Black business owners to write down their concerns so she can personally deliver them to Washington D.C.Next week at the nation’s capital, Brundidge will be recognized as a finalist for the National Small Business Association’s Annual Advocate of the Year Award and “I am taking you with me,” she told Black business owners in a video posted on X.Brundidge is inviting Black business owners to join her in writing letters to Minnesota lawmakers at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Flava Cafe, located at 623 W. Hudson man convicted of sexually assaulting two women HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Thursday, a Columbia County Jury convicted Feisal Nzaro, 31, of sexually assaulting two women. Nzaro was found guilty of sexual abuse in the first degree, criminal contempt in the second degree, attempted sexual abuse in the first degree, and forcible touching. Sentencing is scheduled for October 23.Nzaro also has pending charges in Hudson City Court. He is accused of following a woman into a single-person bathroom at a Hudson business. He allegedly shut the door behind him, barring her escape. The Hudson Police charged him with unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and harassment.

Rehab work coming to Saranac Lake chain ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Rehabilitation to the tune of $1.6 million is coming to a chain of Adirondack lakes located north of the High Peaks Wilderness. This week, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation announced the launch of a large-scale project to rehabilitate gates, decks, and more along the Saranac chain of lakes. The Saranac chain, located north of Route 3 and northwest of the High Peaks, consists of Lower, Middle, and Upper Saranac Lake, as well as Lake Flower. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order on Wednesday to study the development, use, and risks of artificial intelligence technology statewide and within the government while educating the public on the new technology.Under the executive order, state agencies and departments will be required to analyze any potential threats generative artificial intelligence, or GenAI, could cause to California’s critical energy infrastructure. California workers are at ‘high risk’ of being replaced by artificial intelligence, report says Agencies will also be tasked with issuing general guidelines for the public’s use, procurement and training on GenAI.
